Yes, the Senior Centers are there for the older residents of Washington County. They serve as a focal points in the community where older participants can receive information on services, volunteer, have lunch and participate in educational and recreational activities.
You start by calling the Area Agency on Aging’s Information and Assistance Unit at 1-800-734-9603. A comprehensive assessment will be completed and a Care Manager will be assigned. Your Care Manager will assist you in developing a Care Plan outlining what services you need and implement the services to help you remain independent in the home.
